- Every examination and every re-write is billed. An exam re-write counts as a separate examination and is charged as one, whether the candidate passes or fails, and all prepaid fees are non-refundable.
- Three attempts. Ontario Regulation 215/01 section 5 says a candidate who fails the certification examination on three attempts must take an accredited training program before being permitted to retake it.
- Free to cancel 22 or more days before the exam date. Cancelling less than 22 days before forfeits the exam fee. Cancel or reschedule through Prometric; only one reschedule is allowed.
TO-CONFIRM. The same three-attempt rule as G.3: the regulation in the TSSA Gas Technician and Oil Burner Technician Policies and Procedures says a candidate who fails the certification examination on three attempts must take an accredited training program before a retake. G.2 candidates must also hold a valid G.3 certificate.
