What this site collects.

This policy covers TradeExamPractice.ca, owned by Nick Hesson.

Newsletter and waitlists

The signup form asks for an email address and an unticked consent checkbox. It also sends a list tag (for example newsletter or waitlist:red-seal-welder), the consent text, a consent-text version, and the page path. The box is not checked for you.

The newsletter checkbox says: “Send me the weekly TradeExamPractice.ca update on exam rule changes and study tips. Unsubscribe any time.” A waitlist checkbox says we will email you when that exam’s practice app launches.

/api/subscribe is a double opt-in. It records the consent time, the page, the tag, and the consent-text version, then sends one confirmation email. The address is marked subscribed only after that link is opened. Each email includes the sender name, a mailing address, a contact method, and an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are honoured within 10 business days, and the link is meant to work for at least 60 days.

When you sign up, we send one email asking you to confirm. You're only added after you click the link. We use Resend to send it, and we never sell or share the list.

Mail is from news@tradeexampractice.ca, with replies to hello@tradeexampractice.ca. Each email footer includes TradeExamPractice · 370 Wallinger Ave, Kimberley, BC V1A 1Z4 · hello@tradeexampractice.ca. Confirmation links expire after 7 days. There is no reminder email and no open or click tracking.
